As Canada’s largest household battery recycling program, Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! is a turnkey solution helping battery producers meet their Extended Producer Responsibilities, municipalities safely manage hazardous waste disposal, and retailers support ongoing ESG goals and initiatives through a network of over 12,000 drop-off locations from coast to coast.

Household battery recycling regulations vary across provinces and territories, and Call2Recycle helps battery producers meet their Extended Producer Responsibilities wherever they operate, delivering a convenient turnkey solution.

As part of Call2Recycle’s consumer household battery program—Recycle Your Batteries, Canada!—we offer turnkey e-mobility battery recycling services facilitating the collection and recycling of e-mobility batteries that power devices like e-bikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards, and hover boards.

In British Columbia, Call2Recycle also offers a separate and distinct BC e-mobility program that supports the collection and recycling of full e-bikes, including the battery, in that province.

These programs not only help e-mobility battery and device producers meet their waste-management obligations, but they also help retailers, municipalities, and other partners manage the safe disposal of lithium-ion batteries, adding to their investment in sustainability, and supporting ongoing ESG initiatives.
