April is Earth Month, and Call2Recycle Canada fully embraces the spirit of this event. During this period, Canadians are looking for ways to make a difference to protect the environment, so it’s a perfect time to educate consumers about the importance of battery recycling.
At Call2Recycle, we take our responsibility to our members seriously, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to help raise awareness about battery recycling and drive collections, to achieve provincial targets.
That is why we are launching a new awareness campaign in collaboration with Canadian icon and soccer legend Christine Sinclair.
Throughout April, Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! ambassador, Christine Sinclair will appear in new commercials encouraging consumers to recycle their batteries and enter a contest to win up to $5,000.
Consumers can enter the contest by scanning a QR code on Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! boxes, posters and Smart Containers when dropping off their batteries.
The commercials will appear on digital channels such as Meta, YouTube and Google display as well as on National Television including news, sports and lifestyle channels.
