Programs by Province or Territory
Battery recycling has never been so easy
Call2Recycle Canada provides national turnkey recycling programs for Members to fulfill obligations and manage regulatory complexities in a streamlined manner allowing obligated producers to operate in compliance with formal provincial and territorial battery regulations.
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations shift the responsibility for waste management and environmental sustainability to producers. In Canada, where regulations are in place, manufacturers, retailers, distributors and other suppliers of certain products must participate in an approved program.
Are you an obligated producer?
Call2Recycle is here to help.
We have approved programs in British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia for household/consumer batteries. In Ontario, Call2Recycle is a registered Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO), under the Ontario Battery Regulation. If you are obligated under the regulations in one of these jurisdictions, sign up to one of Call2Recycle’s programs today.
