In February, Call2Recycle launched a new campaign designed to raise awareness of battery recycling, drive traffic to drop-off locations, and increase battery collections.

Building on creative introduced last October, new videos and television commercials feature Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! brand ambassador, Christine Sinclair demonstrating the three steps of safe battery, recycling: Collect, Protect, Drop Off.

The commercials will run from February 1 – March 31st, on digital platforms and National Television, with focus on appointment television including the Oscars, the NBA All-Star Saturday Night, Maple Leafs, Canucks, Blue Jays, Canadiens, Law & Order, Real Housewives, Top Chef and more.

Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! collection partners can take advantage of this campaign by leveraging supplied marketing material including posters and social media toolkits now available on the Call2Recycle website, in the Resources section.

New posters featuring Christine Sinclair are now being distributed with all nested box shipments. Call2Recycle partners will also hand deliver posters to locations serviced by Smart Containers.
