Battery Safety Campaign Toolkit
As the use of lithium-ion batteries continues to grow, so do battery-related incidents. When batteries are placed in household garbage or curbside recycling, they can be damaged during collection and processing, increasing the risk of fires and putting workers at risk.
Call2Recycle’s Recycle Your Batteries, Canada! program provides Canadians with a safe disposal option. But addressing this issue requires a collective effort to raise awareness about battery safety.
That’s why we’re proud to offer our “Protect What Matters. Be Battery Safe.” Toolkit.
Designed for retailers, property managers, governments, municipalities, fire stations, and other community partners, the toolkit includes ready-to-use content for social media, websites, and newsletters to help educate Canadians on battery safety.
We invite you to join us in raising awareness by incorporating these materials into your community outreach efforts.
